Making Christmas Pudding in Pasadena: part two

I made the candied peel, and bought a couple of pudding basins. I got string to tie down the linen tops from the butchery counter at Whole Foods.

I mixed the batter. My son, my girlfriend and her son weren't around, so getting them to take a turn with the spoon was not possible. I worked at home all day to monitor the six hour steaming. I think they're going to be fine: they worked out well.

Next will tbe the proof of the pudding.
